Environmental Responsibility
Colorado’s natural wonders, some of the most breathtaking and ecologically vital in the country, are at serious risk from climate change, demanding urgent and decisive action. That means cutting emissions, investing in renewable infrastructure, ensuring a just transition for workers, and centering environmental justice for frontline communities most impacted by pollution and climate threats.
We must hold corporate polluters accountable, phase out harmful practices like fracking, strengthen oversight to protect our air, water, and health, and make serious investments in public transit, investments that will only be possible if we dismantle fiscal barriers like TABOR and Gallagher.
While systemic change is essential, individual actions matter too. I support banning single-use plastics, expanding recycling, and incentivizing sustainable choices. Combating the climate crisis will take grassroots leadership and bold, visionary policy working hand in hand to build a healthier, more just, and sustainable future for all.
